What does Mayflower Group Provide?

  • Find out How Your Company Stacks Up:

Member companies get exclusive access to normative data on topics including satisfaction, engagement, diversity and inclusion, senior leadership, manager quality and many others. International norms are available for over 130 countries. Unlike the norm sets provided by many survey vendors, MayflowerGroup’s normative data is continually refreshed and updated. Our members know exactly which companies are included in the norms, unlike the “black box” often provided by consultants. And because Mayflower membership requires high-quality survey programs and data collection, you can have great confidence in the quality of the data.

  • "On-demand" Benchmark Access to Top Companies:

Do you remember the last time you needed a quick answer to the question "What do other companies do about… ?" MayflowerGroup’s members have instant access to answers from all other members by sending out a quick and easy benchmark survey to the membership. Members also have access to the entire archive of previously-conducted benchmark studies. Past benchmark studies have covered issues such as:

    • 360 feedback – who participates, how often, and how results are used
    • Use of pre-employment testing, unproctored selection tests, assessments for selecting leaders
    • Employee engagement – measuring it, evaluating key drivers, linking engagement to key business outcomes
    • Religious networks in organizations - are they supported and if so, how?
    • Collection of sexual orientation demographics in survey
    • New hire surveys, exit surveys
  • Share Learnings and Best Practices with Top Companies:

At our semi-annual conferences, MayflowerGroup provides a forum for the sharing of innovative best practices and benchmarking studies. Member companies regularly present updates to their survey program as well as other value-added HR practices and processes.

  • Professional Development and Networking:

MayflowerGroup is a valuable source for professional development and networking, offering support, education, and challenge for survey professionals from a variety of disciplines. At our conferences, members have opportunities to network with reps from other companies, learn what’s working well for others, and learn from others’ experience and knowledge.

  • Outside Experts Bringing In Thought Leadership and Cutting-Edge Best Practice:

Our conferences feature speakers from a variety of backgrounds. We frequently invite experts in the field of survey research, but we also have speakers on other topics such as leadership, talent management, employee retention and other human resources issues. Experts also are invited to educate members on legal and employment issues impacting organizations, such as the Employee Free Choice Act. Examples of speakers featured at recent and upcoming conferences include:

    • Alan Kraut
    • John Boudreau
    • Bill Macey
    • Jack Wiley
    • Steven Rogelberg
  • Substantial Value:

Membership dues are only $3,000 per year for the company – substantially lower than most other professional organizations. For this low membership price, Mayflower companies receive normative data on all Mayflower items, in addition to all the other benefits of membership listed above. Compare this to the option of paying hundreds of dollars per item for normative data using outside consulting firms.
